I'm still riding with the stocker, so I'm not sure how it's done.

scosche makes some of the worst pieces of crap on the planet.

A lot of their stuff is cheap and doesnt line up. You're probably better off trying a different brand mounting kit.

Scoshe is cheap, foreign made junk with little to no engineering. Metra Electronics are the kit and cable originators that make the absolute best kits hands down. They are the only ones that I use, period. Made in America with very in-depth engineering to get the job done right with professional results that you can count on. I know this for a fact as I used to be their Central US market sales manager as well as providing technical assistance. The Tsunami brand owned by Metra is the brain child of Bill Fox in their West Coast division that I participated in developing product ideas and testing for way back in 1994. Drop the junk and go and get yourself a real kit.

Picts are always welcomed. I used to work for Metra back in the day as the Sales Manager for the Central US. Great company, great product. Back then, Scosche was just some off-shore junk. Metra kits and harnesses are 100% made in Florida.
