    Default Subwoofer sound questions

I recently just got my sub installed into my 06 tc with stock HU. It seems that the volume increases as I drive which makes the bass sound kind of distorted. I know that the quality would be better if I get an aftermarket HU, but is there any way to make the volume at the same level whether im driving or sitting at a stop light?

Im kind of new to this so if you have any questions just let me know. Thanks

It is called ASL (Automatic Sound Level). It is accessed thru the menu. Set it to off and you problem will go away. The Stock HU is actually one of the best out there in a car brand, especially from a car under $20K. Have you tried changing the hidden SSP car type? The xB setting with give you alot of boom and the xA setting will let you rock it out. Just hold the SSP button down till the car type menu displays then flip thru the different settings.
