Like just about every radio out there, the OEM Scion (Pioneer) unit is "XM Ready". All that means is that an XM receiver will natively connect and can be controlled by the factory head unit. You will need to purchase the XM Radio option such as this one from TRD Sparks.

There is a cover, but I am not sure why there are 2 listed. You will have to call TRD Sparks on that one. You can also get (order) these parts from your local Dealership. TRD Sparks has the best prices.
