Indash help

This is a discussion on Indash help within the Audio and Electronics forums, part of the Scion tC category; Is there anyway to change the L.E.D lights in the car while the indash is already instaled????...

    Is there anyway to change the L.E.D lights in the car while the indash is already instaled????

    Are you talking about the gauge cluster, HVAC, and the door controls? Each item can be independently altered by removal of the surface mount LEDs. Requires disassembly and soldering.

    yeah..... i want to change the lighting to a diff color.. like the radio color.

    That will require some fine solder work and a large number of surface mount LEDs.
