    Default Speaker Template

Hello all, I have been looking around the internet looking for some type of speaker template for the TC aftermarket speaker spacers. I have found one to make it easier for everyone and it shows on for 5 1/4" speakers and one for 6 1/2" speakers i went with 6 1/2" all around in my TC so i will only be using the one i hope this is helpful to all who are installing after market speakers. I got this from a Toyota Yaris forum but my understanding is that they speaker setup is the same as the TC.

Last year when I upgraded my stock OEM speakers to a Cadence 2-Way Component Set, I endured the same issue. The after market speakers wouldn't fit properly, so my buddy and I made our own custom speaker templates. Since my friend has been in the audio/video business for many years and has done hundreds of installs, the use of MDF and some powertools came in handy. In less than an hour and with careful measurements, speaker templates were made and speakers went in w/o a hitch. Plus being the hands on person that I am, and refuse to pay someone to do the work for me, I got to install my speakers and wire them with a watchful eye. Its actually a lot of fun to wire and install speakers and say you did it yourself, plus learning something new is always a plus.
