Default 09 Scion Tc Turn-On Blue Amp Wire Trouble!

    Hey everyone,

I have trouble on installing my amp. I have the RCA converter all wired up to the rear speakers. I also wired the turn-on amp(blue wire) and the switched 12+(grey wire) together and the amp will not turn on at all. Please let me know if I did anything wrong? Should I wire the turn-on amp wire to another wire besides the switched 12+? Also the power(red wire) and the ground(black wire) is good I even double checked. Also what happen to the Add-N-Amp Harness? Do they still sell them or have them on ebay? If so can anyone please give me a link cause that way is so much easier for me. Thanks everyone...

The antenna amplifier (orange wire Pin 8) may not be powered when using other head unit sources. The option connector is where you will find the true amplifier turn on lead. You can order the actual harness used for the OEM bazooka for all the wiring that you need. You will still need a dedicated power and ground as the one provided by the option connector is not sufficient for aftermarket amplifiers. This harness is for 2005-2007 radio. I believe that it will work on all current year models. I am not sure if the audio outputs on the option connector are line level or speaker level. That would have to be checked before connecting to you amplifier to prevent damage.
