    Wink New Amp/Sub Hell Yeah

    Just placed an order on crutchfield for an amp and subwoofer, wanted to take advantage their black friday specials. I'll have both hopefully by Dec 1 .

    Amp
    Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-1 Mono subwoofer amplifier 300 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield Signature





    Sub
    Boston Acoustics G312-44 12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils at Crutchfield.com





    I've got the stock headunit for the 05 tC. Other than getting some speaker wire, power wires, and capacitor, what else should I be getting? More importantly, how should I connect to the headunit's preamp output and amp turn on lead?

    Let me know what you guys think .

    P.S. Making my own enclosure, cuz dats how I roll

    Man this forum is dead.

    Anyway, purchased a Soundstream SCX-4 capacitor to go along with the system... gonna be shipped soon.
