Default Daytime running lights/side markers out

Ok so I just realized that my side markers and daytime running lights are out. Not quite sure if they were working or not before HID install but I know I did manage to blow some fuses a while back so it has me wondering if it's a fuse.

My question is (since I don't have an owners manual) what fuse goes with the side markers and running lamps? I tried looking at the fuse panels but didn't really see any that looked like it, i tested the ones that I thought it could be and they were all fine, but I very well may be over looking it.

You can do a visual inspection of each fuse to check for any breaks in the thin metal inside the fuse itself. If you have a fuse tester, check each one.

Neither one of those are for a tC. I will see what I can add to a Knowledgebase article.

Ha ha when I saw that diagram I was like there's no way that belongs to a tC. I have all of the diagrams I even have a layout that says how fuses are connected, etc. But I can't for the life of me figure out which one goes to the daytime running lights/sidemarkers. I checked a bunch of random ones but none were out, some of the ones under steering wheel column are hard for my tall ass to get to so maybe I missed a few. Maybe it's something else?

My apologies for the wrong diagram.

You are right. The taillight circuit diagram does not display the side marker lights. It is assumed that they are on the same circuit as the parking lamps.

Note: The Side Turn Signal Lamps (LED) in the Outer Rear View Mirror only illuminate for their prospective side for turn signaling and both for the Hazards. They do not illuminate with the taillamps.

Note: The Scion tC technically does not have DRL (Daytime Running Lights). What you are referring to as DRL are actually parking lights as indicated in the diagram.

It says the attachment is invalid. Yeah I mean parking lights. I'm just finally getting over being sick so hopefully I can try to solve the problem tomorrow probably something simple.

All of my fuses were good. Your diagram almost makes me think it could be the tail lamp relay.

Now I'm 99% sure it's the t-lp(tail lamp) relay. While reading the service manual it stated that it's either a fuse(nope), wiring(very doubtful), or the tail lamp relay that causes the parking lights to be out but the tail lamps on. Now I just have to figure out which one it is. I'm pretty sure it's in the dash somewhere, I just don't think it's the three behind the panel. Went to my work to try and get the relay but they don't sell it so I couldn't see what it looked like. I can only find wiring diagrams with the relay on it.

The tail lamp relay is located in the Instrument Panel J/B Inner Circuit that also houses the Integration Relay. It sits just above the dead pedal and behind the small removable panel above the hood release handle. Not sure if the relay is replaceable or not as the diagrams has the T–LP Relay connected to IG2 on the Junction Box as an internal component.
