    Default S2000/Element Antenna Change

Here is one of the easiest and least expensive modifications you can do on the TC. I think this antenna flows better with the lines of the TC than the stock one.

Step 1: Here is a picture of the stock antenna. It is just screwed on, so you twist counter-clockwise to unscrew it.

Note: At this point I'm going to teach you the most important thing you'll ever learn about DIY work: RIGHTY TIGHTY, LEFT LOOSEY. This was taught to me by my automotive teacher and has never escaped me. Basically, if you're pulling a wrench towards you with your right hand (clockwise), you are tightening a bolt. If you are pulling towards you with your left hand (counter-clockwise), you are loosening a bolt.

Step 2: Put a little thread locker onto the threads on the bottom of the antenna. This will secure it from high winds and unsavory characters.

Step 3: Step back and admire your new antenna!
