Be careful when doing this modification when handling your center console and especially the stereo door. They are easily scratched (don't ask how I know).

Step 1: Remove the negative battery terminal with a 10mm wrench.

Step 2: Remove the shift knob by turning it counter-clockwise.

Step 3: There are 6 clips holding the bottom center console to the car. You can remove it by just pulling from the top to the bottom.

Step 4: Remove the electrical plug that connects to the lighter.

Step 5: There are 8 clips holding the upper center console to the car. Again just pull the piece off but from the bottom up.

Step 6: Now remove the electrical plug that connects to the temperature control.

Step 7: Remove the four bolts that are holding the stereo and stereo brackets.

Step 8: Remove the stereo harness and the antenna plug from the back of the stereo.

Step 9: If you want to re-use the stereo brackets than remove the 4 bolts holding it to the stereo. Otherwise use an aftermarket installation kit and install the stereo in the reverse order you removed it.
