Yea it not really that funny but I've had my share of crashes and stuff like that. But I really couldn't be late because I had a half million dollar account to close that day, that's why I couldn't be late. What would you have chose? But yea your rite I should of stop. There was nothing in the news paper about him crashing so I assume he's ok

it's always easy to judge a person's behavior or action from the outside looking in. but when it's your turn, talk goes out the window.

Basically had the same thing just happen to me. I was at a light and a cobalt SS pulled up next to me and started to rev.so we took off and i smoked the doors off this slowbalt. So like two mins laterhe flys be me, cuts me off, passes 3 people on the right shoulder, and runs a red light and misses getting hit by a jeep by less than 2 feet. If he crashes he deserves it. What an ass.

I hate it when people take it too far. A little competition is alright, but when you start running lights, cutting people off and/or driving on the shoulder, and so on, that is just too far.

i have to aggree with that i mean i am very competitive and i love to race every chance i get but i dont cut anybody off i only race if the street or highway is clear and dont go more than 80 on the street and about 120 oh highway those are good enough speeds to determne who is faster lol at least thats how i think of it

That is exactly why some guys can't just tool around in their rides w/o getting the eye from the man. I respect the police, they are just looking out for the public safety (I know, there are some that go too far). It is not there fault but that of those jerks like the slowbalt. When I was young, I did some crazy crap behind the wheel and owe it to God for keeping my butt out of trouble. I had a hotrod buddy that taught me there is a place and time to race and then not to. He said that the A #1 place not to race is anywhere residential. It takes just a second to destroy an entire family's lives. He also taught me to pick and choose your race. Just because some wingnut can rev his motor w/o it blowing up, does not mean you have to race him. Other words of advice were never race on an unfamiliar road and never race alone. If you get in trouble, the other guy is just gonna ditch ya.

I just have 1 rule for racing.
Dont' be stupid. Personally, I'm not a fan of "street" races, or highway chases, or inner city battles. If theres people around, I'm not for it. In the rally and touge world, everyone understands the risks. And so long as everyone who participates understands and accepts the risks involved, and you're not putting other lives at risk, you're good to go.
