ehh well back to what this topic was meant for..... lol i was at thr TRACK on friday with my tC. i currently have a AEM CAI and a magnaflow exhaust system and i ran a 15.3. i launched at 1k. i only got that 1 run in cause after that somebadoy hit the wall and they were taking to long to to clean it so i dnt know if i could of gotten a better time or not. but it was 70 degrees when i ran that time so i probly could of done better i dnt kno. wish i didnt leave now though because it bugging me.
thats great man 1k man i went out to the track and was launching at somewhere between 15 and 25 and i got a butt load of hop from the front end. so much that it made my cd player cover pop open. but i ran a 10.19 in the 1/8
yea mine was 9.something i have to find it again i forget
thats awesome, what do you have done???
so far just a ZPI exhaust and a aem cold air that was meant for a 06 tC but i had to custom fab up the maf. so it would fit right in the spot that is goes in. but yea i think i could of done better because i only had 1 run in like i said n 70 degree weather. i also removed the grill that covers the spot where the filter ends so i can get more air into it
yeah i have an 07 but i waited for the injen intake to come out for it great product. i was thinking about removing the insert when i go out to the track in june. i assume it ain't hard to remove.
Raced a "no-fear" stickered up RSX from the stop light last night. Not the type-S but he was still competive. Had to show him how quick the tC is :]
how bad did you beat him?

It was pretty close at the get-go. Second gear is when I started pulling away by about half a car, maybe a little more. Third, I was still a half a car ahead.
Raced a celica gst and some punk in a lexus SUV. still breakin it in so had to take it easy. celica was a fun race though.
It's kickin' like Bruce Lee! And I got the skills to floss it.
stock celicas are so slow... u should of pulled on alot hard on that regular RSX i barliy beat a type s.

Yeah, maybe. I doubt the RSX was rolling stock. I know for sure the stickers on his car add 10hp.
lol next time wave at him when you passing him lol.

alright i got a new one. if this doesn't make you laugh your ass off nothing will. i was at a red light just heading home from a night on the town up comes this 90's ford escort lime green with flame stickers on the side. if that wasn't bad enough in the car sat five hispanics. the guy driving looks at me and revs his engine making his little exhaust tip whissle. it took everything i had not to laugh. so anyway light turns green and i hear his tires chirp so i wasn't gonna get punked by this guy and his buddies no way no how. i took off with him. now normally you know that when you drag someone you are shifting between 5 and 6 grand. i was shifting between 3 and 4 and pulled on this guy.
well i don't have any stories as of yet, had a few CRX's give me the stink eye, but no races. ya see fellas i live in middlefield, ohio. for those of you who arn't familiar, and i'm guessing that's pretty much all of you...it's the 4th largest amish community in the WORLD. needless to say if i would want to get a good patch of road to drag or even race on i'd have to easily drive 30 miles out of my way to a more metropolitan area. i live on a 1 mile dead-end dirt road, it's in the country and it's very quiet. the main purpose of me buying my tC is the pure enjoyment of driving it, giving it as much added performance as i can while still keeping in mind that it's my daily driver. but hell, there are plenty of civics and other POS's out and around here that feel they have something to prove, so if the opportunity arises i'll take it, but only if it's within the limits of my car, i've done the research and i know those limits, drive it to enjoy it, don't drive it to prove something, and if you're that hard up go to an autocross, a strip or something![]()
aight raced an i-roc. he had me off the line but i pulled him in third.
It's kickin' like Bruce Lee! And I got the skills to floss it.
