GAH I lost to a Volkswagen GTI...that had cold air intake! "shoo" was all i remember. haha. BUT on a lighter note, I beat an Acura RSX type-s! puhahaha

well last night i was cruising around one of the local cities with me new girl and i had a mazda rx-8 creep up on me. he came up next to me at the light and reved a couple times and took off at the light. seeing as how normally when i have a girl i'm interested in i won't run just cause i don't want to scare her and make her pissed at me so i let him go....at first. my new girl looked over at me and asked am i just going to let him go. wha????!!!!! hell no so i took off after him and got side by side. we went and she waved bye bye to him as we left him behind.

this thread is pretty rediculouse. i say, the type s, and the iroc werent racing LOL.

and the anti-si plates are ok i guess for a tC... you do know they have less than 130 lbs/ft of torque right?.... cool brag? not really.

and im here b/c i just purchased an 08 scion tC for my girlfriend four weeks ago, we will be modding it very soon, and i am here to learn more about the car. So seeing as how i own a tC i have just as much right to be here as you. so dont get your thong all twisted up over it, i didnt mean to hurt your feelings... when i said "this thread was pretty rediculouse," what i meant was "this thread is so amazing, your tC is incredibly fast, and you are awsome at life."

ha ha see thats so much better. and i got one of those non twisting cheetah print thongs. velvet... anyway with the whole si i thing i have to brag alittle cause they do have 196 horse power to make up for there lack in torque. besides everyone raves about the si so it just makes sense to be anti.

Hey guys...

Lets try to keep it civil here... and while I'm posting in this thread I'll ad my 2 cents.

Racing on the street just isn't smart and isn't safe. Going back a number of years ago, I was pulled over for racing at gun point and I almost lost my license. That was the end of it for me. Just look at Hulk Hogans son who was recently arrested for an accident that took place while street racing... the passenger in his car is still in a coma!

Finally, there are drag stips all over the country that have open nights where you can pay a few bucks and race cars for real. Then you can see if you really have what it takes to beat the Civics, RX-8's, etc etc.

Ok, Ill get off my soap box now!!!

Any way, Ahriman is welcomed here. His girl drives a tC (go figure) and he came here to get the right info to make her ride more than a grocery getter. He does not talk up his ride. Once her ride is taking down Si's, Typr R's, Sti's, etc it is only natural that he will really get to tweaking in the 300WHP+ power range. At that point, his manly instincts will overcome himself and his girl will be complaining, "When do I get to drive MY car?".

lol navy well i got a funny story for all to read. didn't race this one just because i was embarrassed for him. i was sitting at the pump the other night minding my own buisness and this guy pulls up in like a 95 nissan maxima. didn't really think anything of it no big deal right..... well the guys starts pumping his gas and cominced to walking over to me and my tc. guy walks up to me and says that your car? ofcourse i'm thinking of some smart ass remark to say back like no just making sure it don't tip over but what ever. anyway i reply with a yeah then he follows up with you think it's fast. ha ha at this point i'm think ha ha is this guy seriously getting ready to challenge me? well he continues on by telling me that my car is a slow ass piece of **** and that his maxima would whoop up on it. i'm dumb founded by now. i really didn't even know how to respond to this. so i just looked at the guy and was like your not worth my time or gas bud. he just huffed and walked back to his car. well after he was done getting his gas he looked at me and told me he can't wait to see me on the road i just rolled my eyes and waived bye bye to him. he gets in his car and starts to leave here is the best part as he is pulling out of the gas station he tries to break the tires loose no such luck then he completely misses second and it makes that sound where you get on the throttle way before you let off the clutch. i couldn't help myself i just started cracking up. aaahhh man what a double douche bag.

Ah yes, the same sound I make sometimes when my elbow hits the center console or my seat is too far back.

Ive beaten about 3 honda all decked out with the coffee can exhaust and lowering kits etc.., i also beat a 07 colorado,and about 2 2.5 s-10 pickups, but not an acura them things are bad, the v6 mustangs are slow too knock one off at work...

at the moment its not. i have it disconected b/c i am having ALOT of issues right now. my blower needs a rebuild, my tranny is doing strange things(i think its the open diff), and yesterday my header cracked. im gonna get a spacer plate to go between the blower and the intake manifold so i can spray the meth after the blower now, the rotors are all chiped up and im pretty sure the water/meth is to blame. i dont HAVE to have it running though, i also have a water to air intercooler. but i uped the compression from 9.5:1 to 10:1 with the pistons, so i mainly use the meth as an octane booster and combustion stabalizer... it alows me to run 24 degrees of timing advance throughout the wide open throttle portion of my timing table! not sure what that means to you tC tuners, but for an ion 24 degrees of advance is alot.
