he's lucky i didn't get to fully open up on him .. it was a second gear 40 roll .. i pulled a car on him as soon as i hit third .. which was seconds after i stepped on the throttle .. i couldn't finish forth because there was traffic comin up .. so it was basically 40-90 .. sucks but i kno i can beat him .. a 95 integra pulled up .. white with a c.f hood SLAMMED to the floor and a red 06 Si joined .. all pickin on the toyota .. so i had represent fellas .. i let them all go ahead gettin my RPM'z right .. i dropped down to 3rd .. and o Lord .. i passed them as if they were walkin and i was an international track superstar lol .. it was sooo fun .. thankful no cops or injuries

Didn't really win this one, but thought you guys would like this match-up. A 99 SI and a 95 300ZX(NA) were messing with each other on my way home from work last week. Granted, I only have a K&N SRI installed, I LOVE to pick a fight with a civic. Not because I don't like them, but just cause civic drivers tend to wanna race too(and prove something). Anyways, I ended up next to the 300ZX at the next red light, and after conversing with the driver; I find out he's done some work to the engine(not sure what, it was loud though). Light turns green, his tires spin. I launch with minimal spin and move past him at the end of 1st and all the way through second, but he ends up pulling on me in 3rd. I shut it down at 65, well aware of the comotion we caused. Good race though!

well i didn't didn't see it as a race but i got picked on today on my way home from work this moring. i was heading up the road just cruising along and noticed i had this bright blue new corvette riding my ass. there was no question in my head i had nothing for the guy three times the power half the weight come on now i'm not stupid. well i had a explorer infront of me that slowed traffic down traffic to third gear so after the explorer turned of i slowly picked up speed but ofcourse the exhaust sounds like i might be pushing it so mister corvette boy decided i was trying to race him so he flys beside me and looks over at me as he's going by i just give him a so what shrug and blast away. i just thought to myself judging by the vette stance i wish we were on a road course i would smack the **** out of him.

Last night my friends went to all u can eat wing night. After the feast we came outside and i got in my car... and my friend shows up at my window calling me a ricer and what not. I thought he was joking when he said he wanted to race. He drove a 99 4spd chevy truck with headers and full exhaust that sounded like a boat. So i smoked him every time in the 3 races we did. After I showed him how our amazing Jap cars can, run he is interested in a tC. I converted another one!

I looked through like the first page or two and the last...didnt really feel like goin through all 7 and uhh, i didnt see anything about people racing any vw.(not saying theyre speed machines, just saying that the vr6 is a pretty gutsy engine) Tonight I raced an 02 or 03, I forget the exact year, chiped and exhausted vr6 jetta. From a dead stop, had him right off the line. After like an eight of a mile(ran out of strip, and hit a red light) i had him by like a car. Which really isnt bad, considering the fact my tc is a 5-spd stock...not a damn thing done to it. On the other hand, raced a gti vr6, 98...exhaust and chipped..and blew me the hell out of the water..had him at take off..then he just ripped on me. hahah am i the only one who finds the vr6 to be a formidable opponent? then again, im runnin a totally stock car...upgrades aint cheap baby lol

no they ain't but if i could do it all over again i would save my money for a turbo and then rock out. got over a grand in engine goodies but probably cut .4 off my drag time.ofcourse i didn't build my car for dragi built it for auto cross

yeah if your lookin for drag times just go turbo. And the last VW i races was a jetta that was lowerd and had crappy rims on it. A car club around me called DEL DUBS (delaware vw' and audis) always has crappy vw's pull up next to me and start revvin. I usually dont waste my time.

I recently ran a VR6 GTI .. he's bone stock so it was NOOOO contest .. from a 20 roll .. had him by 7-8 lengths EEAASSYY !! .. didn't think it was worth posting seein that it was a slaughter
