Why do people put down the TC so much. Almost every post I read on you tube is negative against the TC. I think this car has great potential and can be pretty quick. However in you tube almost every video the scion is getting its but kicked by other cars. I love my Tc and with the few mods I have done it moves pretty quick.

for starters, it's considered by most to be a chick car. plus, it's heavier than most cars it's size. that that has a lot to do with it. plus it's the new kid on the block.

stock for stock, civics are a little quicker, and if he has v-tec that's a plus for him too. tCs weigh more too. but with the power difference, you should catch him and pass him!

Best race was when I was 17 in my mom's 98 Camry v6. Had the car packed with my friends. Civic pulls up to the red light with 2 chicks in the back and revs his engine. I kept the automatic in D and just punched the gas. Pfft, I had time to roll down my window and give the duech the peace sign. He was pissed. So I blew him off the spot at the next light too.

Recently I was on hwy.. something...17? I dunno, a long curvey road towards Santa Cruz. Some Civic was tryin to keep up with me. I pushed the tC through the turns and he disappeared from my rearview. There was also an chi-mo van tryin to race too. It was so fun. The 45 min drive took about 20. At that point I just had I/E and a rear sway. Our car can really hold its own in the turns.

yeah, I love to push it throught the turns in the tC its got alot of feel, and with a good set of tires will hold through most lines with only subtle adjustments for understeer.

A late model S2000 mistook my heavy foot for a nudge to street race. Once clear of the traffic I gave a lil oblige of the throttle. Even with my belt slipping bad on my S/C and the briefness of the run, all I can say is. "S2000 what?"
