auto tranny to manual

What would I have to do if I wanted to convert my auto tranny to manual? How much would it cost? Would it be worth it? What would i need to get to do it?

Would be worth it for performance. Cost prohibited.
1. Labor cost if you don't do it yourself.
2. Cost of the manual trans. Probably used so look at new clutch and release bearing.
3. Will need new flywheel.
4. Will need new master and clutch slave cylinder.
5. Will need the hard and soft lines for clutch cylinder.
6. Not sure about the motor mounts being compatible.
7. Wiring for backup light switch if different.
8. Need clutch pedal and associated wiring.
9. Not sure if the ECM for an auto will work with a manual trans. The ECM's are different between the auto and the manual trans.
10. Not sure about the drive axles.
