Default Weapon R Intake throwing Cel

So i put my new weapon r intake in and right upon start up boom threw a cel. Code was intake temp high and MAF low voltage. I did a ecu reset and started up and it turned off. Now my buddy pulled my MAG while car was running and auto turned off so he said my MAF was working still so thats not broken. Any ideas on what it could be?? Or how to avoid throwing another code??

Make sure your MAF is properly seated and all seals are tight.

If everything sealed properly and the MAF is seated how it should be, the CEL shouldn't come back on.

You did not have the MAF wire harness socket fully plugged into the MAF. That DTC was an electrical fault check. Plugging the connector back in properly would make that go away. The fault check is for determination of a faulty MAF/IAT and for the electrical connection.

Note: You can actually crank your motor and run it without the MAF sensor connected. It will run all that well, but it would not leave you stranded. The ECM takes note of the missing sensor data and adds corrections for airflow based on predetermined maps stored in it's memory of what the expected airflow should be. The ECM is able to run like this, as long as, the other sensors are functioning properly. Again, this is not ideal, but it is designed so as not to leave you stranded. This is why it costs OEM's millions of dollars in developing/testing new engines. Alot of that development time is spent on an engine dyno.

Not exactly what I'm looking for. Lemme explain it different. My buddy has a honda si and just bought a aem intake and its giving him problems and his a/f and fuel trim is off and is running lean. But he has a list of all his proper readings and what they should be. So I just wanna make sure im not running rich or lean. Its been a few days and i have been getting on it a little it seems more slugish so when I run the diagnostics again I wanna make sure all my reading are good and on point so I'm not running rich or lean. And I haven't been able to find the numbers. Thats exactly what I'm looking for.
