Ceramic Coating?

Hey, I ordered a new turbo and was wondering about the ceramic coating they offer. Is it worth it to coat the turbo? If so, which parts would be most beneficial to coating? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ceramic coating is about the only thing that can handle extreme heat. It also traps heat in. This can keep the under hood temps down a little and has another great feature. The turbine works off of heat-energy in the exhaust. The more heat 'trapped' in the turbine housing means more energy is available to drive it, thus, a slightly more efficient turbo. Spend the money, you will be glad ya did. You can also wrap it.

A friend of mine does Ceramic coating in parts. He just coated the turbine hosuing on my turbo.. inside and out. I'll give ya info when we test it.

He did however, ceramic coat everything he could on one engine he built. It lowered intake charge temperatures by over 110 degrees... for every 10 degees you lower the charge you get roughly 1% more efficiency... so you do the math.
