    Unhappy help

    Need ideas on engine upgrades. I have a 07 tc. Looking for a turbo kit but there expensive so i need other ways on making my car faster

    i would suggest looking into exhaust and s-pipe. the stock headers are pretty good. and the injen cold air intake is a must. those three mods could add anywhere from like 20-25 whp from what ive read ive never dynoed my car so i dont know exactly.

    LW crank,water pump, alternator pullies can help recover wasted energy, as well as, going with a pure synthetic oil

    I heard the the lw crank pulley dosent help that much is that true?

    Any weight that you can take off the spinning mass of the crank does not make HP. What it does, though, is recover wasted energy. Think of it like this. Run the 440 Sprint in full football gear, then run it in just shorts and shirt. You obviously went faster. Was it becuse you were stronger w/o the gear? No. It is because less energy is expelled to propel you forward.

    As far as the manufacturers claims of HP gain, that is always speculative. 5-10HP is probably accurate and nothing to snub about. Every lil bit counts.
