smog legal tc parts???

This is a discussion on smog legal tc parts??? within the Engine Performance forums, part of the Scion tC category; im looking to upgrade my stock exhaust but living in CA i would like to find a smog legal header ...

    Default smog legal tc parts???

    im looking to upgrade my stock exhaust but living in CA i would like to find a smog legal header and/or cat back system anybody have any suggestions?

    The cat back should not be a problem, but the header will. The primary catalytic converter is in the area where the header would go. You would have to have an exhaust shop put in a cat somewhere else and redo the oxygen sensors so you don't have a CEL.
