Straight pipe = loud, no matter how you cut this cake.

If you're replacing the oem piping that retains the catalytic converters (this includes the header) with straight piping with no type of decible augmenting devices, you're going to sound like Rice on steroids.

    ON STEROIDS.

no no no big misunderstanding here my bad. lol

I have stock headers and stock exhaust with everything inbetween stock, I just wanna get rid of my cat. I live in florida and there are no smog or stupid laws like in cali down here. I wanna just cut the cat off and replace the gap thats left with a peice of pipe while retaining my stock exhaust, headers, etc. any one know how loud?

as long as you keep your cat in the headers you will be fine.. i ran the trd with stock headers and invidioa s pipe and 2.5 inch exhaust all the way back and it was fine. something that sounds weird but works very well is a cherry bomb go to a local muffler shop and get one there like 40 bucks but they work awesome.. until you get aftermarket headers and then they suckkkkk....
