    Default Spark Plugs

Ok now I am on this kick about saving fuel, and seeing what I can do to get more. Now my question is...is our stock spark plugs the best, or is there another copany out there that will help? Besides what kind of spark plugs do we have anyways? I put denzos in my acura, and I saw a difference. So we must discuss...yes...

What king do we have? Platinums or iridium?

Honestly, if..IF... spark plugs made a difference, you probably wouldn't notice it. You're better off investing in a grounding kit and shifting low/not driving hard.

Speaking of saving gas: I did the intake mod (removing the fender tube & charcoal element) & I jumped up 20+ miles to the tank. I used to get 260-275 miles to the tank and now I'm well above 300+.
    Start with that lolz...

Hrm...Graphite...is that intake mod on this website...I tried searching and I cant find it. Or would it be better just to get an intake? OR is that just going to be marginal as well. I do alot of highway driving here in VA so I just do 60 (55 is the speed limit.) I was hoping that the just the spark plugs would be the answer...oh well, I gotta explain that to the girl friend...lol.

Its under "whoa... modded my intake &..." or something like that. Juse remove the pipe that connects your airbox to the fender, and remoce the little filter element where the intake tube attaches to the top of the airbox. As a bonus you get a nice deep tone... all for free!

Hey Graphite check this out will this work, I know about grounding kits, and I know that they are for more along the lines for systems, but this says something about saving gas.

Buddy Club Racing Spec Condenser (Grounding kit) :: Scion Accessories :: Accessories :: Scion Garage

Or what about this...I have seen this before, but I dont think it will do anything...

Weapon R Ignition Equalizer Kit : Scion TC :: Engine :: Scion Garage

To me it seems like all I have to do is just get some cheap stereo wire and ground it to the battery.

I have seen those...but 25 dollars a spark plug is rediculous. I did a search on them, and on a corvette theard says that they will actually make you loose power becuase the timing is going to off or something. But that is a corvette.

Waking up an old thread cuz the questions weren't really answered ---

I think I need new plugs cuz it sounds like my car is misfiring at start-up. I dont notice a power loss, and my check engine light isnt on, but initially, it sounds boggy. Almost sounds like an sti...

Are the stock plugs the best? All I have is a CAI and axle-back exhaust

Yeah, for light mods such as I/H/E its best just to use the stock plugs.
