not sure how much power you get with an axle-back. 1-2hp maybe - but you wont notice it. i have injen. looks great, sounds great!

megan overall isnt a good quality product.

NO axleback .. go catback .. u'll get more from that ...

the axlebac design is bent and curvy that causes restriction and loss of power
the catbac design is more straight with less bends to free up more for better exhaust flow

which ever u decide .. here are ur links

b00gi3 i just looked at a bunch of pics of exhausts for the tC. i couldnt tell the difference in bends on cats vs axlebacks. most of them bends at the same point near the rear axle. the only difference i figure is having one more pipe (midpipe) that is bigger than stock. that would obviously be a airflow difference.

    am i missing something???

some of them are definitely straghter than others, but i dont think its a difference of axleback and catback. i think the hks axleback is nearly straight compared to my injen. had i known this was an issue, i may have gone with that one

I'm not sayin anyone is wrong, but my Magnaflow cat-back bends a lot, and it puts out more hp than some other cat-backs.

nah i think s/c vs. turbo is diiferent when it comes to exhausts. something about the s/c needing to use the backpressure to increase the power. whereas, the turbo needs to release the extra pressure - hence 3 inch piping from header to tip.

i could have that backwards. but i think that's what i read on their site.

yea i think he said that too. its only a 1/2 inch difference between the 3 inch turbo back and most other apps that are 2.5 i think.
