If you look at the instructions you have to cut the pipe right behind the cat, and you put the new pipe over the old pipe, and clamp it down, and connect everything after that, and clamp it down. What I am going to do is put it together, and then take it to a muffler shop, and ask them to weld the pipes together, rather than having to worry about my clamps getting loose...

Yeah I always heard that it was better to weld them, but, you need to be sure that you are going to keep it. About how much do you think it would cost for them to weld it?? Also what are you planning to do when you put it together, assemble it and leave the clamps off, or put it together with the clamps on and just have them remove them when they go to weld it?

Oh and if I am looking into getting the high flow cat. I shouldn't have to cut anything right?? The piping should already be the right lengths for a direct fit: i.e; header ---> s-pipe ---> high flow cat ---> cat back exhaust with no issues I'm guessing, does anyone know??

Just e-mail the company and ask. I dont think that you should have any problems, I mean it is from the same company.
