    Thumbs down Exhaust help

hey i needed help to finding out why my exhaust is too loud and raspy. I have a full Skunk 2 exhaust with performance headers and downpipe. I had it checked for any exhaust leaks but nothing. Some people say its because i have no cats at all. Can someone help me out ive been getting pulled over too much hah and i dont want it to sound like a "honda" rice machine

usually its because of the manufacturing process or design. some exhausts are raspier than others. no 2 exhausts sound the same.

if you want a deeper tone (and don't mind cutting into your skunk2 set up), get a high flow resonator installed somewhere before your muffler. I did this to my honda ricebox and it had a great deep tone that wasn't loud until you hit VTAAAAAAK lolz!

Nah its cool... I had a rice box haha!

Yeah you'll have to get it welded in somewhere along your pipeline. I'll warn you tho, your b pipe will prolly hang low as hell tho after you install it. Now I have to ask... is a quieter exhaust worth you scraping speedbumps? Didn't your skunk2 come with a silencer?

Hey i was just wondering how your skunk2 sounded before headers and S pipe. im looking into a catback and cant decide over the Megan drift spec and the skunk2. the only reason im leaning toward the skunk is because i cant stand the angled tip. GAHH!
