    Default The Weight of Stock Parts

    i noticed that when i added parts to my car I was actually shedding weight. Does anyone know how much the following items weigh...

    stock Tc Hood
    Stock Header+Heatshield

    stock midpipe
    stock muffler << this thing was friggin huge and was like 4x the weigh of the one i put on!

    Don't know, but I will weigh mine when I get back to NOLA this weekend. I am curious too. Since I have not been running in a while, I have more than made up for the weight difference.

    i took my muffler off the beast a few weeks ago and it was probly near 20lbs plus. maybe in the 30s. the hood is really heavy compared to my old civic i used to putt around in. me and my buddy took out the seats and hood... we pretty much stripped the car and drove it around to be dumbasses. anyways, the civic hood weighs almost nothing. usless to get CF for one. now my Tc is a different story. saving up for a Seibon vented. mmmm carbon.
