what can be done to automatic tranny

what all can be done and needs to be done to an automatic transmission to go booste cause from what i hear the auto tranny can hold all that power what can be done to it so that it wnt blow and can hold the power of a turbo?

go to rippmods.com and they have a tranny cooler, also look in to diff types of fluids, dezod has a really nice one

dezod kit comes with trans cooler. but anything over 300whp you will need to upgrade your valve body and basically bulletproof it. im in the same boat you are.

yeaa i want to boost my tc so bad and i was going to do it at the beggining of next year but having to rebuild the tranny to go boost will have to wait a little bit longer im going to rebuild the motor and the tranny first and throw the turbo on there i wonder if its possible to get an automatic boosted tc up to 400 hp?

Yea if you want to get somewhere near 400 your going to need to do some tranny work but if you wanna stick around the 300 range you don't need to do anything, when I had my turbo in I was running at 9 psi for like 1 month stock then I had to take it out because of gas being hella expensive here in cali and I kept getting pulled over. So then I just went i/h/e This makes me wanna put the turbo back in.

yeaa definatly gas is bad in florida as well im sure not near as bad as cali but still sucks but for me its the build itself its taking something thats not very fast and making it fast thats all the fun thats why i love tc's sweet looking rides and so vercitile but yeaa hoping to have the whole car done within two years thats tearing everything down and a complete rebuild.
