go to customtc.com and there is a link to go to a tc store in the middle of the page....they have cold air intakes and short ram intakes that add 10-15 horses!!! im getting the short ram..
great, thanks!
so i went to the website and it said the intake was only $52 . . that seems kind of sketchy to me due to the fact that any other ones i see range from $200-300.
i dont think ur going to get ur moneys worth out of a 52$ intake. go with injen, i have it and its worth the extra money. if you shop around u can get it for a good price
thanks, sounds a little bit more legit.
here are some websites. i got mine from intensepower.com. they where very helpfull/

Personally i would say go with the TRD just because its what i have and have had on for over a year and havent had a single problem with.
Either way the gains from an intake are going to be minimal so it really depends on how much you wanna spend.
o wait i forgot...TRD isnt 50 state legal
Since when? I thought it was CARB compliant.

when i got it, it came with a warning, DO NOT DRIVE ON ANY PUBLIC ROAD OR HIGHWAY IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
OK, your are absolutely correct. On TRDSparks.com I found this little excerpt in the description field;
Reusable high-flow, low restriction air filter. Patented bypass valve that opens if the air filter ingests water saving the engine from water damage. Unique polished black chrome-like finish. For off highway use only.
The install manual made only mention of servicing the filter @ 30K miles for off-road use as apposed to 50K miles. There was no certification of nor disclaimer about 50-State Legal or CARB compliance. A quick call to Ken @ TRDSparks.com confirmed that TRD badged AEM CAI/SRI and others on the market are not CARB compliant.
