sound change from headers

i have the injen axel back system and i like the deep tone i get from it. i am just wondering if anyone knows if getting new headers will give a raspy high tone? i am thinking of getting the megan racing headers if that makes any difference. thanks

megan headers are supposed to be crap. from what i read is that they rust fast, and ppl have issues installing them

i like the DC 4-2-1. if you look around u can find almost any brand of header for under $500.

Do not buy Megan. Read the stickies. There is a long discussion on exhausts. Unfortunately, headers will make it raspy if you do not get different resonators for it.

The DC Sports header and the copies sold under other labels are actually a 4-1 race (high RPM HP) style header and no the street (low torque) friendly 4-2-1 type. Your best bet is to spend the money on the WR which is a true 4-2-1 and comes with an s-pipe. Yes, Megan is all junk.

for some reason, alot of websites say that dc sports are 4-2-1? i wonder why????well that rules out the dc for me.lol

If you notice, they also show a different header which is a 4-2-1 Honda header I believe.

ya they do. on 1 they sayed 4-2-1 and they had a 4-1, and on another they sayed and had a 4-2-1. talk about faulse avertisment...lol

That not necessarily the reseller's fault. What they post on their online stores is what the distributor provides them who, in turn, received it from the manufacturer.
