It's definitely a sexy beast. Without a doubt. I've seen it, felt, and heard it in person. My friend is gonna let me ride in it at the next race!! As of right now, my old bumpers are attached to it right now cos they are trying to fit some stuff on it =D

I was actually planning on going to ptuning's site in Mana$$as tomorrow to buy a hood off of one of their show cars, but seems I am 2nd in line to purchase it. Somebody in Jersey contacted the seller about the hood first, so I gotta wait and see if he buys it on Saturday T_T
God I want that hood... a silver weave carbon fiber hood on a silver tc is a beautiful sight.

He's upgrading to a Seibon hood. Basically, PTuning is keeping his car until he comes back from Iraq and he keep sending them money and they do stuff to his car. It looks really nice in person. He has a really nice turbo kit in it too.

Well, on to plan #2. I will be buying the hood new from deftracing (same place the above guy got his made). $600 instead of $300, but I HAVE TO HAVE THAT HOOD!!! lol
Aw I was definitely going to ask how that went cos I didn't want to look like a super creep and ask if someone from Jersey got that hood. Why did I think those hoods were like super expensive?!

I thought it was going to cost more then that as well, considering they are custom made to order. But a typical deft racing cf hood is around $350, then they upcharge an extra $150-ish for a colored hood. Then add shipping and it ends up being about $635.
Weiiiiiiiiiird. I may consider one later on. Only if it matches my stupid blue car though.

what size injectors would you recommend getting for s/c tC and what would i have to do to make em work.
also if i were to get performance cams is there any other necessary mods to get them working properly without screwing up my engine?
So far, Custom made CAI W/spectre 4'' diameter air filter, throttle body spacer, Agency power lightweight crank pulley, NGK spark plugs, Borla axle back exhaust, 19in lightweight Konig Racing wheels, and lowering springs. im not sure what brand cuz i didnt put them on. but not planning to turbo yet since this is my daily driver right now. so im just planning to build up the motor to some very real power.
As of right now I have an injen cai, megan(I know, but it was a gift) drift style cat back and honestly no rust and no leaks(i've checked) and it went through a new england winter, badgless grills, and a partially stripped interior.
This upcoming spring I'm planning on starting to autocross, nice local group near me, so as for planned mods, my first goal is to drop and stiffen the suspension, maybe a l/w pulley, and when I re-enlist hopefully a turbo from ptuning. Money money money, hopefully i get my money.![]()

Megan's drift style exhuast has a wonderful tone too, I love the deep growl this thing produces, no rice buzzzzzzz at all and after break in it only got deeper and louder. my only complaint about it is how low it sits, i've already dragged it once and I'm riding on stock suspension. I had to pull it up closer to the chasis to avoid it happening again, and I "changed" the color of all that was visible, I'm not a big fan of chrome and shinny crap. certain "kids" tried to race me once they saw...and heard the exhaust, not to mention it got thewatching me. Though I'm pretty sure it's under the 95db limit.
And yeah, really crossing my fingers for that reenlistment turbo, I've been wanting to turbo this thing for some time now, just can't make the money stay in my bank account. lawl. but first things first, most autocross tracks are all about the turns, so gotta make this pig turn better lol.
Now, I would not call the tC a pig in the turns. After all, it is a non LSD FF. Lowering and beefing up the rear sway does wonders. I have yet to do a translation between heavy left and right turns at high speed like on a track so I cannot attest to that performance level there.
Have you decided on what turbo kit that you want to go with? What about the power level? Being that you want to do road coarse work, you will need to find a kit with minimal lag and one that will keep you in the powerband that you expect to be at most on your track(s). For this reason, I have decided to stay S/C on my race motor; just with a different S/C like a Rotrex.

I was looking at this kit from ptuning, I talked them awhile ago about it, I really liked that they were willing to talk to me even though I wasn't buying anything from them right away. plus they did have the time attack trophy, so they must know what they're talking about.

As for handling, I've done...some.......high speed.....turning....eheeeem.....at about 115+mph and some at much lower speeds, it does okay but i don't like the amount of body roll, the car feels like it's about to fly away to the outside of the turn at higher speeds. Losing some weight made a big difference but I want to take the turns as flat out as possible, which is not possible with the stock suspension.
