A turbo, exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it. With a supercharger, air goes in, witchcraft happens and you go faster - Jeremy Clarkson

My only mods so far are taking off the license plate frame from the dealership and putting an awesome bumper sticker on (pics soon)
Will be painting my calipers soon, redoing the interior (hate the tan), and getting some new wheels![]()
I'm completely stock

Don't have much. Still waitin on that tax return check lol.
But in the mean time:
TRD cai
TRD axle-back exhaust
TRD short shifter
14% tint all around (yeah... very illegal in Virginia)
Planned purchases after check arrives (if anybody has other recommendations, I'm all ears):
Unorthodox pulley
Headers (maybe... I hear this can do serious damage to one's warranty) -- thinking DC Sports
Polyurethane headlight eyelids
Taillight covers (not blackout, but paintable covers)
Think Weapon R header. It is a much better header.

navy, you are right. I read the thread about headers the other day. But my modding "priviledge" comes with a price tag. I pretty much have $1000 to play with (that has to include labor, so I'm trying to buy DIY mods) and the Weapon R headers would eat a HUGE chunk of that allowance. Seems the DC Sports headers would be a more cost-conscious decision to make; afterall, I'm not trying to set track records or anything lol. But I really appreciate the advice. I will take the Weapon R headers into consideration.
Got any other advice for me?
Oh yeah, I think I'm gonna scrap the eyelids for now and just go with new headlights, as well as drop the taillight covers for new tails.
I have ghetto fog lights! Which reminds me, how in the world do i post a photo? Im getting my windows tinted soon (35% all the way around, I don't wanna push my luck with VA police too much farther), then I'm getting Progress lowering springs and a Progress rear sway bar, then I'm getting an Injen CAI, thennnn Ptuning exhaust.
They see me rollin', they hatin'! <3
hmm new to the forum but i guess i can chime in... tein stechs, hks hi power, weapon r short ram, greddy front strut bar, twm stage 2 short shifter, 30% tint, and ghetto front grill![]()
Ghettos, we bought a huge box of them from Sam's Club. The little rye bread pieces are my favorite.
cribbs-tC - I/H/E is the standard to start with. The DC Sports header is pretty much the de facto here. It is acceptable, but the WR is much better. Can't go wrong with a LW crank pulley for around a C-note. Redline Water Wetter is great at lowering coolant temps. Also look at running a pure synthetic oil.

I love the hks exhaust i just installed it last week and most of my driving is highway so that annoying drone was my worst fear but this does not have it at all. The s-techs can be a little low sometimes in colorado with 6inches of snow on the ground otherwise i love em!!! Get them you wont be disappointed with either![]()
You should take a video clip of your exhaust for meBut I'm getting the Progress springs. I have driven several several tcs with the Progress springs and I love how Progress feel and how they look.
As for exhaust, I just found out I am getting the PTuning exhaust!!! Ptuning.com - Item Description PTuning is taking their exhaust off their tC and getting a custom one made so I can have the one off their 500+ whp tC. Plus, I'm getting either a Fujita or Injen CAI and Progress springs AND Progress rear sway bar. I can't wait!

As soon as I get it, I will let you know. PTuning has the Progress coilovers on their tC and I have driven a bunch of tCs with just the Progress springs and you can feel the difference, even without the sway bar. My friend has the Progress rear sway on his xA and he loves it. Before you start knockin' on him for having an xA, you must keep in mind that it is a time-attack car and he works at PTuning. Youtube has some videos of him.

Nice seems like you got the hookup at ptuning lol get me in on that!!! I ordered a bunch of my parts from them and was very impressed with the shipping and whole purchase they seem like a great shop.
Oh yeah, they are PHENOMENAL. And the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel lucky that they are down the street from my job. They really are reliable and legit, I love that about them. I feel like since they have turned an ordinary tC into a time-attack car that weighs about 2,300 pounds with 500+ whp, they are good people to deal with. They always have stuff on sale too. It's nice. I am honestly OBSESSED with them. If you go to The Progress Group - Team Progress Vehicles Ptuning.com 2006 Scion tC you can see just some of the awards they have won for their tC.
