CORRECECTION**
its only for the scion XB anyone know if they have one coming out soon?
If you add it to the cart, it says its " * 1ea.- Race Sheet Metal Intake Manifold 2005-09 Scion TC" so its for all years on the TC?
Has any one tried it yet? Is it really 50 hp?
npwould it really give 50 hp?
I have their 4-2-1 header and love it. I think they make a great product.
I'm also going to get the WR Secret Weapon Ram Air (for Supercharger) Intake this week.
Good info. They do make a great product but I am going to say no on this one. Without any dyno numbers and port flow data, it will be hard to judge actual performance gains. This is probably a pre-production piece but I don't care for the welded joints in the runners or the throat. The inside of these welds are going to be rough causing turbulence in the port flow. There is no mention of an intake gasket. The stock o-ring type will not work on this flange. If this is a race manifold then why are there no secondary injector bosses? Would be interested in what RPM band this was designed for? I will have my reservations about this one till I speak with their engineer.

It says, "proven to make over 50 hp at the wheels on Turbo applications." Does that not mean make 50+ when there is a turbo in the car or does that not matter. Im going purely by reading skills, my auto mechanic knowledge is very limited ; )
I have been talking with Chris Wanstrath over at WR trying to extrapolate any data that I can on this and the SRI kit for the TRD S/C. So far, the info has not been as forth coming as I would have hoped. I am still reserving my judgment on this till I receive more details.
What I do know is this. Unless you are going to be running FI (turbo or S/C) or a high compression N/A engine with cams, you are not going to see any significant performance gains. This manifold is stated as "race" for that is what it was intended for. According to WR, this manifold will not hurt performance on a lightly mod N/A setup. This manifold is designed to work more efficiently with FI. The OEM manifold has proven to flow efficiently for engines up to and over 300WHP.
When I get more info in, I will post it up.

man am i glad i joined this site, had no clue the stock manifold was sufficient for lit modding. that's 600$ that can now go elsewhere.
