Default Trouble from 3rd to 4th

Whenever i shift from 3rd gear to 4th gear quickly, no matter how hard i push the clutch, it grinds a little bit... i can still get into 4th, but i hear that "schhhxzhkhzx"-like noise... the one you hear when your trying to teach your girlfriend stick and she doesnt get the whole clutch thing and you can feel your gears being worn away...just like your soul? yea you know the sound... anyway, it only happens when i shift quickly, if i go slowly its perfect, but as soon as i need to shift fast NO NO NO YOUR NOT ALLOWED... whats the problem? any suggestions?

    How fast do you shift?

I do know that sometimes the synchros need time to catch up.

Is the car warmed up to full operating temperature when you attempt this? I know that mine will grind every now and then if I try to shift fast while it's still warming up. The only other advice that I can think of is to change the transmission fluid. It's really hard to judge since we can't see you actually doing this. You may want to stop by a dealer and make sure that your synchro's are still in good shape. Seeing as how you have an 08, there may be a warranty issue there...

right right. i understand. Its always fully warmed up, but i'll try replacing the fluid, but its only from 3rd to 4th... no other gear... Maybe i can adjust the clutch? or would a short shift help?

Take it to the Dealer. Make them fix it.

I had this issue... If you have under 60K miles on your car your dealership should replace your transmission for you. LOL if that is the case IMO get a new clutch & LW flywheel they put my parts in super cheap because they already had the tranny out :P like 200$ labor ha.

I had a short ram intake & they didnt even question me on it... but my dealer rocks so just go to the dealer and say hey my transmission is doing this & look all inocent haha they probly wont question it.. But you are going to have to probly have to pay for a transmission flush first and then drive it for a week they put synthetic because that is the quick fix and they will tell you to drive the car normal to let it grind and say it might go away let them do that to your car and then skip that gear for the week so you just get a new transmission ha

my understanding is that syncroses go bad, but its usualy more of a common theme from going 2nd to 3rd or down shifting from 4th to 3rd because for some reason 3rd gear likes to die but im sure its possible in all gears.
