Megan Short Shifter install

    Default Megan Short Shifter install

    Just got my megan racing short shifter

    But i dont know how to install it
    So i was wondering if anyone has a how to or has any advice

    I have a how to with pics on how to install a twm ss but its not quiet the same and there are some different parts. Im not totally car ignorant but im not a mechanic. any help would be appreciated I have been looking over the internet and havent really found anything.

    Not sure why no one has responded to you. Sorry about that.

    Well, it is not a very hard install. Most short throw shifters are about the same when it comes to install. Did you contact Megan Racing for the how-to?

    oddly enough i said to myself the other day, i wana get a short shift but i dono how...then i came across this thread. thank you. lol. I took a look at the link you posted and it seems pretty good. it looks like it just ends without any reassembly instructions.

    i did the install a couple of weeks ago and now im back on the threads researchin a new part. THe short shifter was very easy apart from on black metal washer that had to be dremeled off. THen i installed a lightweight crank pulley which required a impact gun and was also easy now im thinkin cai but am worried about hydrolock any suggestions?

    No need as reassembly is just the opposite of the removal process.

    Hydrolocking is not an issue unless you plow thru foot deep or better puddles on a regular basis.

    Do you also have an aftermarket grille? The bottom left vent is sealed, which decreases the chance of hydrolocking EVEN more. You should be fine. Injen Intake has been a hot seller.
