I've seen someone modify a K&N CAI to fit on a the TRD S/C (his Toyota dealership did it for him - but the dealership sponsors their local Scion Club)...it looks like a project, though. If/when I get the TRD S/C (this makes me feel old, but I'm warranty-minded), I will most likely sell my CAI.

It is possible, though.

Lookee here. Only about $30 from Autozone and works just fine. Looks a lil do-it-yourself but it is a temp solution till I get my air to liquid heat exchanger built.

Thanks. You would have to modify the TRD or any aftermarket for that matter to work on the S/C. You will run into probs if you don't match the same airflow trajectories as the OEM box. The distance to the S/C impeller makes a huge difference in airflow. Change the airflow on a MAF and the tuning will get out of wack on the ECM. I think the ARC intake might work out of the box. There is a guy at garage111 or something like that. Dont remember the URL.
