Default Cold Air vs. Ram Air

Alright, I'm wicked excited because I just got an '06 tC. My buddies and I are really into cars, so installation, paint, etc. isn't a problem. However, my last car was a beefed up Wrangler, so this transition is a little tricky. My question is: what would be more beneficial: Cold Air Intake or Short Ram Intake? From what I can tell, cold air is better for performance, but I am concerned that the engine will run like crap in the rain. Also, if you have any brand recommendations, that would be helpful. Thanks.

What you are worried about is hydrolocking. There is little cause to worry about this on the tC with a quality CAI. Do a search on hydrolocking on this forum and you will get something like below.

Short and simple, get it and don't worry about it. CAI is better than SRI for the cooler aircharge.
