What do you mean by check your engine?
A turbo, exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it. With a supercharger, air goes in, witchcraft happens and you go faster - Jeremy Clarkson

Always best to check your oil level daily. While under the hood, give all of your vacuum line routing a check for connection and cuts. Examining the turbo manifold for cracks should be done twice per month if cast iron and once a month for stainless steel. Best to nip that as soon as practical before the manifold is ruined. Hopefully you have the appropriate gauges to keep a good track on things while your are zoom-zooming passed those Mazdas.
