So what exactly does a throttle body spacer do? From. What I've read it spins the air or something in the air intake creating more hp and fuel economy? Any 1 ever use this and can it work with a cold air intake?

As a matter of fact I have one installed on my 2006 Scion tC (PowerAid TB Spacer) and works fine. Nothing as of yet has been proven that TB spacers actually work on fuel injected vehicles, they are more suited to carborated vehicles. In theory by rasing the TB should increase air/fuel mixture, which equals more HP/Torque/runs richer. IMO I say try it and compare your gas mileage before and after, and HP gain/loss, that is if you have access to a dyno. If you gain a couple more miles to the gallon and a couple more ponies then it does work, but don't expect a huge/significant gain. IMO, any little bit helps esp with how high gas prices are getting. Keep in mind that Mustangs are also using TB spacers and those that I do know personally that have them have had no complaints or issues w/ them.
Another benefit of a TB spacer is tapping for NOS injection. Hope this helps makes things more clearer in your decision making.

Damn that's alota info 2 take in makin my brainbhurt :-P jk thanx tho my final questions r whatere does it mount exactly? On top of the air intake right? (not 2 knowledgable when it comes 2 names of things) that's where I'm lost rly and if it do will it like screw up my CAI positioning? I don't wanna like spend the money on something that will screw up another thing
To install a TB spacer, you'll need to take out the bolts that hold the TB in place. The TB spacer will install underneath the TB, there is also a couple a gaskets that need to go in as well. You may want to search this site for a DYI on installing a TB spacer or look around on google, I'm positive you'll find something.
A TB Spacer will run you about $50-$70, I got mine from JC Whitney.com.

Time to do the TB water heat bypass. You wont need it till the winter. I personally find TB spacers as eye candy on our motors. The manifold is a phenolic resin so latent heat buildup is not a great issue. Great for water/meth and N2O injection. If they had one in blue, I might just put one on my motor.

You need this during the cold months to get the TB up to temp so that it want "freeze up" and the engine runs smoother till it is warned up. Little heat transfers thru the phenolic intake manifold so this is essential during sever cold weather. Fairly easy to switch back and forth. You can even install a bypass valve to make it super easy.
