    Default Im Leeking Oil!! Heelllppp

    where should I check or what shold i do, i have not checked under the car yet because there is a blizzard out right now here in new england so its pretty cold. but it is freekin me out, does anybody got any advice, i do have the extended warranty with only an intake and the trd exhaust, would they look at it and fix it for free

    This reply might be a lil late, but having those mods probably would void your warranty. I say you reinstall the stock intake and exhaust then bring it back to the shop. Plus what year scion your have?

    well first, my intake has nothing to do with the oil, and my exhaust is TRD which the factory put on, ummmmmm... i actually changed out the FRAM oil filter and replaced it with a K&N performance filter, and as of now it stopped but we'll see, thanks for the reply though

    Intake and exhaust will not void your warranty or emissions. A loose oil filter could be your problem.

    they will probably see the K&N filter and tell you that since the oil has been changed elsewhere, they wont be able to fix it for free, put a factory toyota filter, or like Navylife said, its probably a loose filter, ur car is too young to break down!!! lololol

    Well itz just a warning. Because the *******s at my stevens creek dealer kept bsing me telling me i cant do my own work to it. Though a loose oil filter could be itjust make sure u tighten that.

    well I was trying to tighten it to where it wouldnt go any farther, and it kept going like it was stripped or something, should I go back to the dealership and try to take care of this

    ummm, YEAH!!! like right away man!!! run now!!!, hahahaha, that does sound like a big problem, try another filter to check if it really is striped, or maybe its the wrong size filter!!

    The filter should strip out before the threaded nipple on the motor.
