Question Will a BEAMS 3S-GE fit?

I have had some serious issues with my stock engine and instead of trying to fix it I want to kill two birds with one stone. I figure if I wanted a bit more power I could use a BEAMS 3S-GE like the RS*R Rockstar tC but I don't know if it will just drop in or not and if not what kind of fabrication is needed to make it fit.

If anyone has experience with this engine or has done a complete engine swap in their tC I would love some advice or word of wisdom.

If you can find the build pictures for that tC, you will find that it sits longitudinally (not transverse) and is RWD making the car a FR configuration. There was quite alot of fabrication to build this car and was evident it's 1st season with alot of failures.

You can pretty much fit any engine you want in the tC. That is; with the amount of fab work as above. The 2nd gen 2011 tC has the 2AR-FE. That motor looks identical to the 2AZ-FE but is a little bit taller due to the dual vvt-i setup. It is unknown as to whether the mounts are the same and if the bell housing on the trans allow an "engine only". If you can get the motor you will most likely get the better trans with it so it should be a one for one swap. Electronics is a whole other matter.
