Really? That's odd, the AEM EMS is a great plug and play stand alone because it utilizes most of your stock wiring and sensors.

Regardless, with the proper tuner, and the proper dyno tune, you'll have a great set up regardless.

    Go AEM EMS!!!!

I take it the HKS F-CON pro doesn't fly well with the tC?

Stand alone units are a tricky deal these days.

The STi is a WRX, but a specific version of it. Like how there is the tC RS1 and a regular tC. They call it the STi because it is a WRX upgraded with STi parts. So technically it is the Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

I'm looking into an Apexi N1 for my 08 tC but my friend had a Magnaflow and it was sexy. My other friend has an HKS and hers sounds pretty good as well. Apexi was about $500 or so. I'm getting Apexi as soon as I can. I saw a bunch of youtube videos and that was the deciding factor. Everyone has different opinions so hopefully that gives you something else to think about. Catbacks are MUCH louder and much better than axlebacks.

P.s. I don't know where you live but check out Ptuning.com - Performance Auto Parts Warehouse, Installation, and Dyno Tuning Services ... It might help you out a little. It's a shop here in Manassas, VA. On youtube, they have several tC videos.
