Default 4-1 headers and CEL Eliminator????

has anyone had any problems with the CEL Eliminator not working??? I just bought an '07 that had a set of the OBX 4-1 headers in the back seat... did a little research and found that headers will trip the CEL so I followed the DIY on here, reset my ECM and as soon I hit 29 miles on the car it tripped the light again with the same code (bank1sensor2)... anyone have any ideas??

Hmm...did you follow the DIY step-by-step? Our supermoderator, Navy, was the one that wrote that DIY and I'm sure he would have said something if it didn't work for him...

yep step-by-step right down to the same part number (there were 2 different 18mm anti-foulers)

That's odd. The only thing that I can think of besides the anti-fouler is to buy a Weapon-R s-pipe with their CEL eliminator.

Or you could just drive with the light on...

after doing some more searching I found several people who couldn't get the CEL to go out with just 2 anti-foulers, so they added a 3rd one and of those who posted updates have gone as far as 43k without it coming back on, so I'm gonna go to Autozone and get another pack... will keep this updated with how it works

granted I just got it done, I used 1 pack (1pr) of the 42002 that Navy recommended and added a single 42009. most of the other boards people said they were getting the CEL when they hit 80+ mph and others said it was after they hit about 4,100+ rpm.. so after resetting the ECM I took her out for a test run 6,000 rpm no problems, 120 mph no problems... if it pops up this week end when I am able to get back in her (I drive an 18-wheeler for a living) I'll let y'all know

Wow. 120mph with a CDL in your back pocket? You got some big cajones lol. I deal with trucks all day long, so I know alot about DOT.

^^^ nice thing about living out in the country, in an area the cops only patrol if someone calls for help and when that happens they come with the Party Lights on... as far as the CDL in back pocket, when I got home the House Boss asked me if I was missing anything and I was like no?!? then she showed me that my wallet was on the computer desk..... D'oh

well I took her out last night and today (roughly 175 miles) running speeds up to 70 mph and 6k rpm and CEL hasn't shown it's ugly face so far

side note: the way I have it setup is as follows:
    s-pipe---non-drilled #42009---non-drilled #42002---drilled #42002---O2 sensor
