Cool Its Finally Time to Overhaul the Exhaust System on the tC

I now have all the necessary exhaust parts to finally overhaul my exhaust system. Now to pick up a CEL Eliminator/Anti-Fouler and make an appointment w/ Teed's Auto.

    DC Sport 4-1 Header w/ Jet-Hot.com Jet-Coating

Invidia Down Pipe, just arrived today 4/18/2011 from Fed Ex (www.vr-speed.com) $124.29

Moroso Spiral Flow Resonator: arrived on 4/15/11 from Summit Racing $54.95

Magnaflow Stainless Steel Muffler: Part # 14829

    * I am going to spend a little bit more money and go w/ 2.50'' stainless steel piping since my tC is a daily driver and also take (Fancy's) suggestion and polish/wax the muffler, for a brilliant show room shine. I will also more than likely need a CEL Eliminator/Anti-Fouler, that I will pick up at Autozone or Advance Auto.

I have got to ask.... have you bellowed into the exhaust parts, like a Viking blowing his horn, to breathe life into those parts and imagine it's sound? Come on, be honest. I sure would have.

Yep, people are so quick to flame people who post sound clips/vids of their exhaust notes with out any consideration of the quality of the recording equipment, environmental variables, skill of the user, or the audio/video compression codec used. Back in the early days of the tC when there were few choices for bolt-ons, people were debating the quality of certain products based on something recorded off a person's 1 megapixel cell phone.

Ya know, I just had a swell idea. It involves mixed drinks and a bar so you kids that are underage, please avert your eyes. A cool method to make a signature drink would be to have a header that the bar keep pours the different drink components into each primary runner. The liquids would combine into the collector which has a flap-valve at the end. Once everything is poured, the bartender takes a special glass/mug and drains the mixed contents into. You could call the drink 'Nitro Tuner', 'Race Gas', 'Pure Nitrous', 'Giggle Juice', 'Go-Fast', etc. You could get real elaborate with the drinks, use two headers, to make an 8 part 'V8 Torque Monster', 'Turbo350', '429 Shotgun', 'Hemi', etc. It would not be a real header but made to look darn close. It would be made out of OSHA approved Stainless Steel and would be chilled by Thermal Electric Peltier devices.
