Check Engine Light After Header Install

    Default Check Engine Light After Header Install

    I installed my headers today with the cel and my light still came on. I have no idea what to do and need some advice. Anyone have any good ideas?

    Where did you install the CEL Eliminator, in the down-pipe or in the mid-pipe? Also did you install the CEL Eliminator according to the instructions? It must be facing the proper way or it won't work. You can try disconnecting the battery for a hour or so, then drive the car for 25-50 miles so the computer can relearn. If you have a bad o2 sensor or bad wiring the CEL will appear as well.
