Yes. "Out of the Box" it will be not much better than what you had before. Give the ECM a chance to realign and the butt dyno will kick in.

Default TRD supercharger and ZPI pulley

Anyone here running the TRD supercharger happy with it? Any signifigant gains? I was reading on zpi's site that the pulley adds a gain of 20+ horsepower. I figure if I do a full catback, intake, TRD SC and pulley with reflash I'll have a pretty peppy tC! Thanks for any input!

Bought my TRD October 2005. Have about 30K miles on it. Been running the ZPI pulley for most of that time with no probs. Check out my current setup. It is tuned to 228.4WHP and 190.6lbsTQ. Check my setup in the members area. I run on 89 Octane.

Yea I have a 2007 superchargerd tc with the stock pulley (for now) and a greddy exhaust with the reflash and its a 14.9 to 15.0 sec car. Not fast but its pretty quick. Now iam thinking iam about 200 to 205 HP much better than 160 or 154 to the wheels. I want to get headers and the NST pulley asap!

That is about right on the money for your power output. You can safely run the 9.5PSI NST pulley w/o further mods. When you go with headers, get a 4-2-1 setup. You need to keep your low-end power build up, especially, if you have 18"+ wheels. The 4-1 header, like DC Sports, will drop out some of your low-end and force you to launch at a higher RPM. Since our OEM REV limit is low, you will be having to shift to 2nd too soon not fully utilizing the torque that you just built up.

You cant find anyone to reflash the ECU... call up TRD Toyota/Scion Parts Accessories from Sparks Toyota/Scion and talk to Ken and Josh about where you can send your ECU to get the reflash done. They might be able to do it there, or know where you can send it to have it flashed. Just please tell me your not driving your car with the supercharger and no reflash....

There is a tamper-proof cap on the stock pulley bolt. The answer is yes. It states so in the warranty. There is always that burden of proof law, but it is a huge fight to make it happen in your favor.

ZPI only makes a 9PSI pulley.
For a 9.5 PSI pulley you need to go to NST (non stop tuning).
They can also make custom pulley to what ever size you want.
