No. You would have to get all creative with the maps trying to preempt and predict your rich condition. You risk a leanout and detonation if you get it wrong. You could switch to a MAP based tune. Based on pressure, it will configure your maps. It is not as accurate as MAF calculations and MPG will suffer.

To answer the last question, the Greddy RS converts from BOV to BPV by unscrewing the air horn and replacing with their 1" hose barb adaptor.

The Bosch Sport 110v and the TurbXS RBV are direct replacements. No mods needed. The Bosch is unadjustable with the TurboXS unit having adjustability.

yeah i heard the bosch was known to give out at higher boost levels and the turbo was adjustable so it could hang with the high amounts of boost.

The Bosch Sport 110V is an upgraded unit used on the AudiTT. What you said about the stock Bosch unit is very true. It leaks boost big time.

BOV are flange mounts. You would have to have a section of aluminum pipe with a flange on it. Unless your turbo'd, stick with a BPV.

I would suggest this part if your going with the BOV and/or w/ BPV adpt. I purchased one and it is of decent quality.

blow-off-valve-trd-s-c-imgp1202.jpg

It connects to the 1" bypass port on S/C intake manifold port.

the a/t kit is to move the oil dipstick and reroute a line. The second flash is to flash the transmission to change shift points.
There is no code. There is a modular that goes into a reflash tool that toyota buys when they install your kit.

could you use a diverter valve like the VW guys use on the 1.8T motors? They dont run a BOV because it supposedly makes the car run rich.

I hope and can correctly calculate the MAF timing to flow rate.

Even Kenny Tran will tell you to stick with the BPV. It is more efficient setup. Go on ebay and buy the PA system that make the BOV sound. It hooks to a vacuum line to activate when you let off WOT.
