yea im on stockeez
im sure the motor can hold up to 10 Lbs
i'm not goin any further without upgrading
pistons and rods

yea it does suck especially cuz the 05-06 one is under 2k! well, just wait a year or so. maybe they'll drop that price for your 08 too! (dream start...) and then the 05-06 s/c will be 1k! then they'll just give it to me free! (dream end...)

that makes me think of a question tho...

on another tC forum recently someone was selling an 05-06 s/c for $1K used. i think it had 10K miles on it or somethin like that. is it ridiculous to get used F/I? i would never think of that being a good thing - never mind trying to get a dealer warranty or install - right?

there are some used products still covered under warranty .. its a BIG risk tho.
i would never buy a used forced induction product .. s/c or t/c .. if anything goes wrong with it you lose your money .. if u buy it new .. u can send it back for repair or a refund

Try and buy a broken S/C and send it to Vortech or Comptech and have it refurbished and fully repaired with your spec pulley size.

Could end up saving yourself a ton of cash.

But on another, the 2009 tC is supposed to be a different body/design tC right?

Maybe a couple years from now the S/C will drop in price. =D
