Injen Cai Not Compatible With S/c

My car is at toyota being Supercharged! but.... I just got a call saying the Injen CAI wont work with the S/C because of clearance issues they said they even tried to convert it to SRI and it wouldn't work. So when i get back from my vacation I have to bring my friggin stock airbox over there so they can put it in. Then I think im gonna get the weapon-r s/c intake. Any suggestions?

wow i thought any of the aftermarket intakes would fit. but i guess that clears it up. i wonder if the trd cai would fit? sorry u gotta spend a little extra cash for the weapon r intake

let us know if there is a noticeable difference between the modified stock air box and the weapon r intake!

Yah tomorrow is gonna suck until i can finally drive my baby. Its ben a week, and when I do get her back I have to wait 100 miles to really get on it. ARGH!

uhm... the injen CAI can fit.. but you'll need to cut/modify it a bit..

not sure why they need your stock airbox either as the S/C comes with a brand new one..

Yeh just picked my baby up. They didnt need the stock airbox.... but the s/c is so great. If i had the money I would have gone turbo, but its too expensive and too unreliable for me. My friend who brought me to pick up the car followed me home and told me i was such a b!tch driver. then i explained the whole waiting for the comp to do its thing. I'm just gonna buy a new weapon r supercharger intake nd sell my injen to my friend. ill break even

Give it a couple of months then get a 9.5LB pulley. You will be eating most people's lunches.
