    Default Weapon R + S/C

I was reading through some discussions and wanted to know more about S/C.

I've read that the dealership won't install an after market intake when installing the S/C. I kept my stock intake should i reinstall this when I get the S/C?

I have the Weapon R Secret Weapon SRI. I've read that they make an intake just for the S/C. Is the the same or is it the Dragon intake or is it a different intake all together?

I wanted to stay with Weapon R when getting a header, torque dampener, etc. Is it even possible to install the Weapon R (MMW) header with the S/C?

Basically I want the advantages of both I/H/E and F/I. I'm not an expert so please tell me if I this set up is possible if not please point me in the right direction and let me know what to stay away from.

The Weapons R SRI designed for the S/C is still considered the "Secret" type, but it is a one tube design, thus making it compatible with the S/C.

You can use the Weapons R Headers with your S/C. I am and it is quite a nice set up. As for as the torque dampner is concerned, I would skip on it if I were you. It is going to strip the bolts because the bolts that it is designed to bolt onto are way to short for this application. Just my opinion though.

Are there longer replacement bolts out there? So is this true for all torque dampers ingalls, nst?

I know that it is the case for the Ingalls, however I don't know about the NST. I assume it would be the same, as they all bolt onto the same location. I don't know about replacing the bolts safely. Also, dampners have been known to cause engine and chasis damage after a while. Just sayin. Once again, it is your call.

Why would you want a torque damper in the first place? Get poly motor mounts instead. They are about the same price, safer for your car and work better. They will take longer to install, but I would say it is worth it.

True on all account. Long have I preached about the way these dampners are mounted. You also cannot run a strut tower brace either.

Energy Suspension sells them and a complete chasis kit as well. With these mount inserts, you will gain a slightly rougher ride as the mounts are stiffer. I have a set that I bought last month but have not had the opportunity to get them installed.
