Unhappy I boosted my 08 tc and am having some troubles...

Hey, I boost my 08 tc with a whole t3/t4 turbo kit. It ran great for 2 days but i had to keep messin wit the boost because it was runnin lean. I also threw a few engine codes which was expected. But a couple of my friends said that if i unhooked my battary for a few mins the ecu would read the motr again and fix the probloems of it leaning out and clear the codes. well disconnecting the battary jus made the car run like crap in low rpms. i cant even really go anywhere until i hit boost then it runs great. Everyone is tellin me all i need is to get it dyno tuned or i need to get an apexi afc (air fuel controller) and i wont have the problem in low rpms anymore but to me it sounds too easy. Does anyone know what could be going wrong or how to fix it??

What kit are you running? What engine management system is installed?

Can possibly be a loose intake hose or vacuum line. Could also be a dirty or disconnected MAF. Really need those codes and what type of EMS piggyback that you have.

If you messed with the injectors u should check if one is loose that could be the problem.

What codes are tripping? That should be your answer right there.

Is it bogging down in lower RPMs or dying? Whats your current boost level, what kind of "tweaking" did you do?
